Sequoia and Kings Canyon

$450 Single – $135 Passenger

May 29TH – thru – May 31ST

October 2ND – thru – October 4TH

This 3-day ride is among our favorite rides in North America.  As we head up into the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the scenery takes the spotlight with views as far as the eye can see.  Riding through Sequoia offers the sights and smells of the forest, along with access to some of the regions natural wonders.  From the gigantic Sequoia trees to scenic overlooks, you will have the opportunity for some great photos and some really quiet roads.

There are a lot of great motorcycle roads on this trip along with some unique stops.  One of our past participants summed it up best, “I couldn’t believe some of the roads we turned onto.  They appeared to be bike paths, which turned into the coolest paths. They gave you a view that you would have missed by staying on the regular highways.”

3 Day Itinerary

Day 1-  Santa Clarita to the Sequoia National Forest.   We’ll start the trip off in Santa Clarita with a short pre ride briefing and then we’ll mount up and head for the hills.  As we head up to the windmills near Tehachapi, you can feel the weather change.  Your settling in for the ride, ready for a full day, with some picturesque roads and tight twisties,  This trip can range from a nice cruise into the mountains to an opportunity to lean that bike way over as you go through the turns. We end the day riding on some very empty and remote roads and end for the night outside the National Parks, where we will spend both nights.

Day 2 – Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.  We spend the day exploring the parks.  We will get off the bikes at a couple of spots and stretch our legs as we visit some of the parks can’t miss stops.  From Morro Rock to the Tunnel log, we will get some photo’s you can share and remember this adventure.   These parks have some nice surprises too though.  There are some interesting roads and stops to see that just don’t feel the same unless you are on a motorcycle.  We always leave the park, wishing we had more time.  Yet…there is more to do and see as we make our way out of the park and head back toward our home base for the night.  The days have gone so fast and we spend our last dinner together, sharing stories and pictures with each other.

Day 3 – The Sierra’s are vast and offer multiple routes and choices for our return trip.  From remote side roads to open highways, we make our return back to civilization, leaving the mountains for another tour and the trip of a lifetime.
